How Does Pop-up Sprinkler Irrigation Occurs?

Pop-up sprinklers emit a high-pressure spray of water in a circular motion to cover the area around the lawn. The high pressure of moving water hits and triggers the pop-up mechanism, and the sprinkler heads release water.

Once the irrigation duration is complete, the water flow is shut off by the solenoid valve, and pressure drops. The sprinkler head in response retracts and falls into place.
