How does the screen filter work?
The Screen has a ring shape to them. They leave a center gap or channel when stacked. Each disc features grooves on the outside and inner perimeters that are more open on the outer and smaller on the inner. The shape, angulation, intersections, length, and amount of these grooves all contribute to the effectiveness of the filtering process. The water enters the middle channel from the outside.
